Brand Extensions

While it is encouraged to use the College’s primary logo on all external communications, our brand guidelines also provide sub-brands and units (including the Foundation, divisions, departments, programs, centers and locations) the flexibility to represent themselves without compromising the integrity of the College’s brand.

Logo extensions featuring the names of official units and sub-brands alongside the College’s logo are available upon request via the Strategic Communications Project Request Form.

As you’ll see in the following examples of logo extensions, the name of the unit is separated from the College’s logo by a thin, horizontal line. In order to maintain a concise, clean design, we streamline the name of the unit, removing words like “Division of” and “Department.” Questions regarding specific logo extensions can be directed to Strategic Communications. Only official logo extension files provided by Strategic Communications may be used.

The use of standalone logos or graphics (aside from the College’s logo) is prohibited.

Logo Extensions on Merchandise

All items found in the swag store are available with the College’s logo. Only certain merchandise is available with logo extensions, such as T-shirts and other larger items where the extension is clearly visible. Depending on the merchandise, logo extensions may be available on the front, side and/or back of the item. It is not recommended to include logo extensions on smaller items as they will not be visible.
