The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act)

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.

The College offers two medical insurance healthcare plans through Independence Blue Cross: Keystone Health Plan East Point-Of-Service and Personal Choice.

Keystone Health Plan East Point-Of-Service requires you to name a primary care physician and to obtain a referral to other providers if your primary care physician is unable to provide treatment. Personal Choice does not require you to name a primary care physician or to obtain referrals for other providers.

The Human Resources Department invites all faculty and staff to attend the College's first-ever Health and Wellness Fair. We're bringing together resources and information to help you with all aspects of wellness: emotional, physical, mental and social.
This event will include:

  • Mindfulness meditation demonstrations
  • Flu shot clinic

You'll also have the opportunity to meet with representatives from our Benefits team and various vendors to learn more about the College's benefits and employee discount programs.

We will have our annual Flu Shot Clinic on the Main Campus on Tuesday, Oct. 10, in the Student Life Building, Coffeehouse, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.


There is no cost if you have coverage through the Blue Cross Keystone or Personal Choice healthcare plans sponsored by the College. Nurses from Maxim Health Systems will administer the vaccine. No appointment needed. This is an open event. All we need is your name in order to reserve enough vaccines.
