Transfer Opportunities

Interested in transferring to a four-year college or university? Completing an associate degree here before earning a bachelor’s degree at another college saves you tuition money. Not only is it a great value, but our Associate in Arts (A.A.) and Associate in Science (A.S.) programs also provide a solid academic foundation to make your transfer experience as easy as possible.

Transfer Agreements

There are 3 types of Transfer Agreements: Dual Admissions, Core-to-Core, and Program-to-Program.

Learn About Transfer Agreements

Dual Admissions

Dual Admissions Transfer Partnerships with specific colleges and universities ease the transfer process.

Each semester, Community College of Philadelphia offers transfer events to assist students in their transfer decision. These include workshops during Transfer Week to learn about transfer, and opportunities to visit with Representatives from four-year schools. Ask Transfer institutions questions about the admissions application process, financial aid, scholarships, deadlines, and on-campus housing at Transfer Fairs.

Dual Admissions Transfer Fair

Dual Admissions Transfer Fair

Monday, January 27, 2020 - 10:00am to 1:00pm
Event Location:
Bonnell Lobby

Visit with Representatives of Dual Admissions institutions to learn about your transfer and scholarship opportunities. These agreements are designed to assist students who earn an appropriate associate degree to transfer to one of these four-year institutions. Each dual admissions partner institution guarantees admissions with junior standing for approved matching majors into the institution on the condition that students meet all the requirements.

Plan ahead, make a list of questions and then ask about their academic programs, admissions policies, and campus life. Don’t forget to ask about the Dual Admissions scholarships.

Sponsored by the Counseling Department, Community College of Philadelphia.
