Strategic Communications Project Request Form

Strategic Communications wants to help you achieve your goals. Whether you’d like to share a student success story, promote your event, develop an outreach strategy, or reconfigure your department’s web presence, we come from a place of collaboration.

The questions below give us what we need to get started. Please include all relevant dates and details in your request. If you are unable to get us fundamental information (key details such as time, date, location, description, etc.) within these timelines, our capacity to support will be limited.

Please anticipate the following timelines for production when submitting your project:

  • Print (more involved pieces, i.e., reports or brochures): at least 6 weeks lead time
  • Print (less involved pieces, i.e., clings or flyers): at least 3-4 weeks lead time
  • Event planning/promotion: at least 4-6 weeks lead time
  • Press: at least 3-4 weeks lead time
  • Remarks (president or president’s designee): at least 3-4 weeks lead time
  • HTML emails: at least 2 weeks lead time
  • Social media promotion, website calendars, digital signage: at least one week lead time
  • CNews: 1-2 business days lead time
  • Community Starts Here: Noon Wednesday (Tuesday in summer) for inclusion in the following week

These timelines are subject to change given high-traffic times of year (August-October, March-May). Any submissions within these timeframes will be considered on a project-by-project basis determined by other department volume.

Necessary supplemental forms include the president’s form (please complete this if you need presidential remarks). If you are planning an event and need support, please complete the event request form. If photography is appropriate, please complete the photo request form. If you are looking to shoot video, please complete the form below and walk us through your concept.
