Students took a break from their studies on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at the annual Spring Fling. Students gathered in the Winnet Courtyard to celebrate a successful spring semester with music, fun and food.

Alpha Eta is the national honor society for allied health professionals, including students, alumni and faculty. The society promotes scholarship and fellowship among its members, and recognizes those allied health professionals who have excelled in their field.
Community College of Philadelphia hosted the second annual TRIO Upward Bound basketball tournament. TRIO Upward Bound is a federally funded program that aims to increase college enrollment and graduation rates for high school students from low-income households from homes where neither parent has earned a bachelor's degree, or for students at a high academic risk of failure.
Colleagues gathered in the Klein Cube on March 29 to celebrate the retirement of Charlie Holley. Mr. Holley has been with the College for more than 35 years. He started as a part-time worker when the College was located on 11th Street and was hired full time by Dr. Bonnell in January of 1983.
The College's 19th annual Law and Society Week was held Feb. 26 to March 2, 2018. The week included panels, presentations and discussions on the most current topics in the legal, criminal justice and related fields. Topics ranged from immigration in Philadelphia today to ending gerrymandering and a conversation with Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. The week also included a social science, justice and paralegal career fair. Throughout the week, participants were encouraged to bring new or gently used professional attire to a clothing drive to benefit Career Wardrobe.
Students, faculty and staff joined together in the Bonnell Lobby on Thursday, Feb. 1 and Friday, Feb. 2 to show their love for the Eagles. Fans donned their Eagles gear to show their support, and the Office of Student Life treated everyone to doughnuts, pretzels, coffee and hot chocolate. On Friday morning, an excited crowd gathered together to sing the Eagles Fight Song, which was captured on video.
