Tuition Remission
For Credit Classes at the College
All full-time faculty, full-time administrators, and regular full-time, non-probationary classified employees are entitled to 100% full remission of tuition and fees for academic courses taken at Community College of Philadelphia provided classroom space is available. Their spouses and children are also entitled to receive 100% remission of tuition and fees. Application
College employees seeking tuition remission for themselves or an eligible spouse or child(ren) must complete the tuition remission application on the CCP portal. The application can be found under 'Employee Services', 'Administrative Forms and Links'.
Non-credit Classes at the College
Non-credit classes have a different process. If you are interested in taking a non-credit course you will need to do the following:

Reach out to with the class name and information to see if the course is covered under tuition remission. Only non-credit courses that are taught by faculty employed by CCP are eligible for tuition remission.

The Benefits Team will investigate this for you and let you know if the course is in Banner (requires registration) or in Destiny One (no registration required on your part).

If the class is in Banner you will go through the registration process and then submit an electronic tuition remission form.

If the class is in Destiny One you will complete this tuition remission form with all of the required signatures and email the completed form to .

Forgivable Tuition Loan
For Classes at Any Accredited Academic Institution
Forgivable loans are available for study at accredited institutions for courses offered over a regular college semester. Funds for short-term study, CEU workshops, conferences or seminars are available to full-time faculty through the collective bargaining contract travel fund. Forgivable Tuition Loans are administered by the Division of Business and Finance, x8125. For full-time faculty, classified/confidential staff and administrative staff funds are available through departments for staff development.
