The Community College of Philadelphia has a program-to-program transfer agreement with Berklee Online a part of Berklee College of Music, Inc.

Program-to-Program

These are agreements in which an entire curriculum or program of study is accepted, so graduates of these specific associate degree programs transfer with advanced standing (junior status) into a matching specific bachelor's degree program at Berklee Online. To benefit from this agreement, students must earn an appropriate associate degree before transfer.

Under this Agreement, Berklee Online will accept all or most of the courses from the Associate in Art (A.A.) in Music Performance or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Sound Recording and Music Technology from Community College of Philadelphia to satisfy half of the Berklee Online’s Bachelor of Professional Studies degrees assuring third-year junior status.

Transfer guides are created and maintained to help students and staff make appropriate course and program choices. The guides show how the requirements for the appropriate Community College of Philadelphia associate degree transfer to the bachelor's institution. It is, however, possible for program requirements at Community College of Philadelphia or the transfer institution to change without advanced notice.

Admissions Eligibility

Under this Agreement, students pursuing admissions into Berklee Online’s Bachelor of Professional Studies degrees will follow an expedited admissions process for which an essay or letter of recommendations will not be required. Instead, students must meet the following terms and conditions:
