General Information:
This transfer guide is developed in support of the program-to-program agreement between Berklee Online, a division of Berklee College of Music, Inc. and Community College of Philadelphia. It shows how the requirements for the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Sound Recording and Music Technology at Community College of Philadelphia transfer to Berklee Online’s Bachelor of Professional Studies (B.P.S.) in Music Production and the coursework required at Berklee Online after transfer.
To receive transfer credit, courses must be completed with a grade of C (C=2.0) or better. The associate degree must be completed with at least a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
Completion of the A.A.S. in Sound Recording and Music Technology at Community College of Philadelphia will allow the student to achieve the equivalent of third-year junior standing at Berklee Online. Berklee Online accepts no more than 60 credits in transfer; students are expected to complete 60 credits at Berklee Online after transfer. Students can apply for any one of four terms to begin their Berklee Online Education: Fall (September), Winter (January), Spring (April) or Summer (June).
