Community College of Philadelphia has a program-to-program guaranteed admissions and core-to-core transfer Agreement with College Unbound's Philadelphia location. College Unbound is designed for adult, non-traditional students and offers a Bachelor of Arts degree completion program in Organizational Leadership and Change. To benefit from this Agreement, students must earn an associate degree before transfer.
Guaranteed Admissions
College Unbound and Community College of Philadelphia have developed a guaranteed admissions Agreement designed to assist students who earn any Communty College of Philadelphia associate degree to transfer to College Unbound's Bachelor of Arts degree completion program in Organizational Leadership and Change offered in Philadelphia. College Unbound guarantees admissions on the condition that students meet all the requirements listed below.
Core-to-Core
College Unbound agrees to accept the General Education embedded in Community College of Philadelphia's Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.) and Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees as meeting all the requirements of its undergraduate General Education requirements.
This Core-to-Core Agreement applies to all graduates of Community College of Philadelphia A.A., A.S. and A.A.S. degree. Core-to-Core transfer does not alter the requirements of the student's major field of study as identified in the College Unbound catalog.
Program-to-Program
As a result of program-to-program, College Unbound agrees to accept an entire associate degree from Community College of Philadelphia to satisfy half of College Unbound's Bachelor of Arts degree completion program in Organizational Leadership and Change offered at their Philadelphia location. To benefit, students must earn an associate degree before transfer.

It is, however, possible for program requirements at Community College of Philadelphia or the transfer institution to change without advanced notice.
Admissions Eligibility
College Unbound welcomes Community College of Philadelphia graduates into College Unbound with third-year (junior) status for the purpose of entering College Unbound's Bachelor of Arts degree completion program in Organizational Leadership and Change at the Philadelphia location.
To be eligible for this program, students must:
- Graduate from Community College of Philadelphia with any Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.) or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0;
- Complete College Unbound's admissions application the semester before the student plans to matriculate to College Unbound (or by no later than six weeks prior to the semester, fall or spring) and satisfy all other regular College Unbound admissions requirements. Such requirements include an interview, a writing sample and a technology assessment which will be used to advise students and will not prevent admissions into College Unbound.;
- Not attend another institution of higher education between the time they graduate from Community College of Philadelphia and enroll at College Unbound;
- Enroll at College Unbound within one year of Community College of Philadelphia graduation.
Students are strongly encouraged to meet with a College Unbound Admissions Representative and/or a Community College of Philadelphia Academic Advisor, Counselor to develop a course taking strategy to maximize course transferability.
NOTE:
- Transfer credit will be awarded for courses with a grade of “C” or above for any and all courses transferred to College Unbound. Grades of “D” will transfer for elective credit only.
- Students are responsible for sending College Unbound official transcripts for evaluation of credit from all other attended institutions, including military transcripts. Credit will also be awarded for AP, CLEP, Life and work experience, etc. with appropriate documentation. Developmental courses are not eligible for transfer.
- The maximum number of credits that can transfer to College Unbound is 80 semester hours. Students enrolled in an undergraduate program of study at College Unbound are required to complete a minimum of 40 credits at College Unbound including at least half of the requirements in the major or area of specialization.
- A full-time student admitted with third year (junior) status to College Unbound will be able to complete the Bachelor of Arts degree completion program in Organizational Leadership and Change at College Unbound's Philadelphia location within four regular (fall/spring) semesters provided the student earns an associate degree at Community College of Philadelphia and completes and appropriately sequences their remaining course work at College Unbound.
- Under this Agreement, College Unbound guarantees that all Community College of Philadelphia credits from any Community College of Philadelphia associate degree programs will fulfill general education, elective or major requirements in the Bachelor of Arts degree completion program in Organizational Leadership and Change at College Unbound's Philadelphia location.

To encourage Community College of Philadelphia graduates to transfer to College Unbound, College Unbound agrees to the following financial supports:

College Unbound does not require an application fee.
Financial Aid:
All Community College of Philadelphia graduates will be provided with College Unbound financial aid information and receive full consideration for College Unbound financial aid upon matriculation at College Unbound.
Financial Aid will be awarded to Guaranteed Admissions students on the same basis as all other College Unbound students. They will have equal access to all state and federal financial aid programs. Students are strongly encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) before May 1st each year to determine if they are eligible for a state grant.
