On Sept. 17, 2019, Community College of Philadelphia welcomed our new mascot Roary to the Lions community. Welcome, Roary, to the Lions pride. Faculty, staff, students and alumni enjoyed entertainment, food and giveaways. Marc Farzetta, host of "Farzetta & Tra In The Morning” on 97.5, emceed the event. Franklin, the Sixers mascot and Villanova University's Will D. Cat, were there to welcome Roary to the mascot team.
