Curriculum Development Processes

Green Light: Before a curriculum facilitator is assigned to the project, the division dean must green light starting the project. This usually takes the form of an email to/from the faculty developer of the project and/or department head that CCs the Coordinator of Curriculum Development (Coordinator).

Development: The curriculum facilitator works with the faculty developer and alerts the Coordinator when the project is ready. The Coordinator gives the faculty developer and curriculum facilitator feedback and forwards the project to the dean, pending department head and departmental approval. Once the dean approves the document for the Academic and Student Success Council (ASSC), the Coordinator forwards the project to the Vice President for Academic and Student Success (VPASS) office for the ASSC agenda.
