Academic Course Scheduling
The Office of the Scheduler, under Academic and Student Success Operations, is responsible for academic course scheduling, curriculum and program maintenance, analysis and maintenance of course attributes, classroom space utilization, degree audit system maintenance, and final exam scheduling through collaboration with college administrative and academic units.

Mr. Jones provides oversight for the master schedule to ensure that it meets the academic requirements of the institution. He collaborates with academic divisions to ensure timely and accurate system additions or changes to curricula; maintains an accurate system representation of prerequisites; and coordinates accurate academic information for the College catalog and other publications. He works with various departments to conceptualize and develop optimal practices for the master schedule and plans for effective enrollment strategies; serves as the division lead for the College’s space scheduling and degree audit systems; and works to ensure effective and efficient space utilization.

The Academic Scheduler I coordinates key aspects of the College’s master scheduling operations, including classroom and instructional-space assignments, course and section maintenance, enrollment reporting, and the scheduling of credit and non-credit classes and final examinations. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and academic departments, the role facilitates the accurate and timely coordination of academic scheduling and space requirements. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining related academic systems, course catalog information, room inventory, and associated scheduling processes. Through responsive and professional service, the Academic Scheduler I helps foster an academic environment that promotes student success and advances the mission of the College.
