Academic Technology Professional Development
The Department of Academic Technology offers ongoing professional development sessions. Faculty interested in attending these sessions should contact for more details.
If you are looking for help with general Canvas use, take a look at our new Canvas Academy. This self-paced, self-enroll course will guide you through the basics, intermediate, and advanced features of a Canvas course, separated into bronze, silver, and gold tracks. Badges are awarded from FCTL upon completion of each track.

Technical Training
Training sessions are either offered via Zoom or in person in room B2-26. Please register in advance for any Zoom sessions using the provided links. Registration can still be done on the day of the session.

A crash course in Kaltura. Learn the basics for Kaltura’s recording tools, uploading previous recorded videos, adding/editing captions, managing your videos, and embedding them in Canvas.

Honorlock Test Proctoring
Honorlock is the new tool that has replaced Respondus Lockdown Browser for online exam proctoring. This session will cover the primary features of the tool and how to set it up for your Canvas and 3rd party exams.
