Using FAMIS For Work Requests
The FAMIS system allows users to submit non-emergency Facilities requests.
How to use FAMIS
Sign in
- Sign in through the MyCCP portal.
- Under Administrative Forms and Links, select FAMIS Work Request System. This will take you to the FAMIS login page.
- On the FAMIS login page, re-enter your MyCCP Login and password.
- Click LOGIN.
Entering a Service Request
- Select the Create Request tab.
- The Property and Space/Floor will default to your location. If you have access to view multiple locations in the Space/Floor drop-down list, select the appropriate space.
- Select the request Type. This describes the general category of work.
- Select the request Sub Type. This describes the activity.
- Use Describe your Request to enter further detail about your needs.
- The Who is making this request? field will default to your contact information. If you are entering this request on behalf of another person, edit the contact information as desired.
Note: To receive updates via email on the status of your request, make sure your email address is entered. - Click OK to send the request.
- After the request is entered, the system will display a Request ID link. This can be used to access your request and review status.
Checking the Status
- Click the My Requests tab. You'll see a list of all open request at the top, and closed requests at the bottom.
- Click on the Request ID of the request you want to check.
Viewing Request Details
- When you click the Request ID, the system will display the Request Details page.
- The GENERAL INFORMATION section displays who made the request and when it was made.
- The REQUEST DETAILS section displays specific information related to the request.
- The REQUEST HISTORY shows the response of the service personnel to the request and the request status.
- If you would like to send more information, you can enter details in the General Comments field and click UPDATE. Your comments will be posted to REQUEST HISTORY and the service personnel will be notified. You can log in and add additional comments at any time.
