Enrollment in the College’s new Tuition Payment Plan for Fall 2023 will be available ONLINE via the MyCCP portal beginning July 3, 2023. Enhancements include more payment options, financial aid and company billing included when calculating the payment schedule and the option to enroll in automatic payments. Students interested in enrolling can log onto MyCCP and select the Enroll in a/View Your Payment Plan link under the Financial Services channel. For more information about the Fall 2023 Tuition Payment Plan, select the Fall 2023 Payment Plan Information link under the Financial Services Channel. The Community College of Philadelphia Foundation hosted its annual Black & Gold Gala on June 7 at Vie. The gala is the Foundation’s signature fundraising event, which has raised more than $2 million to support student scholarships since 2018. Each year, the Black & Gold Gala recognizes the outstanding service of individuals and organizations in the City of Philadelphia that demonstrate involvement in community growth in the areas of education, business, social services, and health.
Our 2023 graduates were invited to spend an evening celebrating their success and connecting with fellow alumni at a special reception on May 10. Alumni enjoyed a beautiful evening enjoying Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments in the Library and Learning Commons Absalom Jones Courtyard.
Congratulations to the Class of 2023! You did it! The College community, family and friends gathered to celebrate our 2023 graduates at Community College of Philadelphia's 57th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 6 at Temple University's Liacouras Center. The keynote speaker was Philadelphia Mayor James F. Kenney, who was presented with an honorary Associate in Letters degree. Graduates also heard from College President Dr. Donald “Guy” Generals, College Board of Trustees chair Harold T. Epps, provost and vice president for Academic and Student Success Dr. Alycia Marshall, and student speaker and Catto Scholar Jonathan Collins. The Class of 2023 includes approximately 1,540 graduates earning 1,618 degrees and certificates.

Students, don't go to class hungry! The Snack Rack is a Food Pantry for all students. Students are able to make an appointment to pick up Family Food Bags and Snack Packs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10:00 am -3 pm.
The Snack Rack Food Pantry is located in the Winnet Student Life Building, in the Center for Student Leadership Development, rm. S1-12.
You can also join us on March 16, March 30th and April 13 for fresh produce and fruit giveaways.
On Wednesday, Feb. 8, the CCP community showed their support for the Philadelphia Eagles at a tailgate party held in the Bonnell Lobby. Students, faculty and staff traded their CCP gold for Eagles green as we celebrated and cheered on our Eagles. CBS Philadelphia's Ukee Washington fired up the crowd as the Philadelphia Eagles Pep Band led the crowd in singing the Fly, Eagles, Fly victory song! We brought the Linc to Spring Garden Street with Philly's favorite snacks, games and Eagles jerseys and gear for prizes. Go Birds!
Faculty and staff gathered in the Great Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 14 for the annual Holiday Hangout. During the celebration, we recognized those employees who have diligently served the College for 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 years, as well as our adjunct faculty who have achieved 64 seniority units. A big congratulations to our "shining stars" honored for their outstanding and distinguished years of service to our College.
The College community gathered on Main Campus on Nov. 17 for its annual Thanksforgiving celebration. During this free luncheon, Dr. Generals, members of the College's cabinet and Lion Leaders served students, faculty and staff roasted turkey, gravy, macaroni and cheese, yams, greens, desserts, and more.
