Classroom Presentations and Workshops

Career Connections can provide career-readiness classroom presentations throughout the semester. Some topics include:

• Résumés and Cover Letters for specific majors
• Presentation on our general services
• Designing a presentation that fits what you want
• Reviewing assignments that are part of our class visit (especially resume/letter reviews)
• Discussing our online Mock Interview Program and having your students complete one as an assignment (we would review)

Classroom Presentations: Faculty, request a classroom presentation from Career Connections (classroom presentations are typically 45-minutes to an hour)

Pre-recorded Workshops: These are 15-minute workshops that you can request as a recording or virtual session to assist our students with career-related assignments or activities

Request a classroom presentation using this form. Please give us a lead-time of at least two weeks before the presentation date to ensure that we can accommodate your date and time request.

Post Work-Study Program Opportunities

This form is for faculty and staff who wish to participate in the Work-Study program by providing students with opportunities. Include a job title, description, and the amount of hours students will work in the position.

Pathful Explore

Pathful Explore is a comprehensive career assessment resource. Students can watch engaging, real-life job videos featuring people facing the rewards and challenges of their work to help students determine if a career of interest is right for them. Pathful Explore also has a FlexLessons resource for faculty:

  The FlexLessons tool is one of Pathful Explore’s most powerful features. You can build a series of customized activities into lessons that will guide the use of the platform based on your curriculum needs. Not only will you be able to utilize existing videos and activities as lesson components, but you'll also be able to include external website links, writing prompts, custom quizzes, and much more. You also have access to dozens of customizable, turnkey lessons designed by Pathful Explore’s curriculum team, covering a variety of soft skills, workplace intelligence, and industry-specific content.

  In this tutorial video, we’ll walk you through how to take the FlexLessons you’ve built or Pathful Explore’s built-in lessons and send them to your users as asynchronous, gradable assignments. We will review the features that help you create these FlexLesson assignments and how to track your users' progress as they’re working on these lessons in real-time.

Big Interview

Big Interview is an online resource to help students master any job interview! Students can view interactive mock interviews and read through example answers for more than 100+ industries.

Handshake

Students can use Handshake to optimize their job search opportunities, putting them in direct touch with employers looking to hire CCP students and alumni for full-time and part-time positions, internships, and other experiential learning opportunities. Handshake features include:
