Professional Development Seminar Proposal Form

We are excited to send this call for proposals for Fall PD week. Fall PD week will be held August 26 – 29, 2024. The theme will be: Building the Bridge: Cultivating Relationships to Promote Improved Student Outcomes. We will plan programming throughout the academic year based on this theme which includes Spring PD week.

This year’s theme will focus on how the College community can come together to foster and nurture relationships across many disciplines, offices, departments and build strong communities to help our students succeed. The goal is to collaborate and establish strong connections/bridges so our students have a seamless journey here at the College and succeed.

We have updated our programming schedule to better deliver meaningful and engaging sessions.  Each day will focus on one aspect of "building the bridges".  In addition, each day will offer a variety of presentation formats.  Presenters will be given the choice of 1 hour sessions, 30 minute sessions and slam sessions.  Keeping this in mind, we have planned the week so each day draws faculty, administrators, and staff together to engage in conversations and take actionable steps to ensure our students’ success.

Please complete this form to send your proposals by June 13, 2024.  The PD Week Committee will review all proposals and share final decisions to all submitters.
