Professional Development Seminar Proposal Form
This year’s Professional Development Week is designed to help staff and faculty strengthen their understanding of workplace fundamentals, deepen expertise in their respective areas, and gain a clearer understanding of the policies, procedures, and best practices that align our work at Community College of Philadelphia.
Our goal is to enhance understanding of organizational expectations while supporting continuous professional growth. Because student success begins with the people who serve them, we want every employee to leave equipped with a practical playbook for workplace success and a roadmap toward work that will help to guide the college’s strategic priorities.
Every policy provides direction, and every procedure offers a roadmap for achieving our institutional goals and advancing the College’s strategic plan. Through engaging sessions, participants will gain the inside track on the policies, procedures, and frameworks that support effective decision-making, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Strong organizations are built on a foundation of clear policies, consistent procedures, and a shared commitment to professionalism. During Professional Development Week, participants will develop a stronger compass for navigating the workplace and explore the principles and practices that drive excellence across the College.
Employees will leave with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to make informed decisions, contribute effectively to their teams, and support the College’s mission every day.
If you are interested in presenting during Professional Development Week, please complete the presentation proposal form and indicate which session track best aligns with your presentation:
- Track A – Student Impact
- Track B – College Operations
Identifying the appropriate track will help ensure your session is reviewed and scheduled for the audience it will best serve.
