Jason is a native of West Philadelphia and a proud graduate of CCP's Transportation Technologies program. He has nearly 20 years of experience at SEPTA as mechanic and maintenance manager. He also worked for four years for the Borough of West-Chester as a Fleet manager for their Public Works Department. When he's not enjoying time with his spouse and three daughters, he is an avid motorcyclist.

William has o has over 30 years in the automotive industry and over 20 years at the College. His first two years were spent as a technician in an automotive machine shop. From there he spent 8 years working in Ford and Saturn dealerships. He has been with the college for over 15 years. Having graduated with an A.A.S degree in Automotive Technology as well as being a Ford ASSET graduate, he is also a Master level ASE Technician, G1 certifications, and Service Consultant certifications.

Daniel has 25 years of experience in the automotive field. He earned his A.A.S degree in Automotive Technology from Gloucester County College. From there he was placed full-time in a Ford dealership. Daniel has been a full-time instructor for the Community College of Philadelphia for the Automotive Technology Program since 2001. Later in 2010 Daniel earned his B.S. degree from Chestnut Hill College in computer science. His lifelong passion for all things automotive and technology keeps him up to date with regular professional certifications as an ASE Master Technician with L1, G1, and X1 certifications as well as certifications from Toyota, Nissan, Snap-On, Honda, and Ford. Daniel currently teaches automotive classes in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, engine performance, and manual transmissions.

Carmelo has been in the automotive industry since 1994, shortly after his Honorable Service discharge from USMC. Inspired by his father, Carmelo started working under his tutelage in the family own auto repair business. He quickly developed an aptitude for diagnostic work and advance automotive technologies. Within a few years, his thirst for knowledge leads him to attend Camden County College where he achieved his A.A.S. through the Toyota T-TEN (Technician Training & Education Network). Today Carmelo is a Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician with over 23 years of Toyota specialty training and experience. 
 
Carmelo is excited to teach at CCP where he can share his knowledge and assist students to achieve the maximum education and training path to a successful automotive career. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, listening to music (especially live), reading, and hiking with family, friends, and dogs!

Richard SaxtonRichard Saxton

Richard Saxton has been a fulltime faculty member for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Temple University, and a Master of Science degree in Education from Capella University. After he finished his bachelor’s degree and joined the workforce, he realized he loved to work with his hands and attended an automotive technology trade school.  After working on cars for seven years, he decided to join his degree in communications together with his knowledge of cars, and found a job as a diagnostic editor in European vehicle diagnostics information for the Chilton Book Company.

Mr. Saxton continues to attend manufacturer training, educational professional development, and is an ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) Master Automobile Technician, and holds Advanced Engine Performance Specialist and Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Specialist certificates. Currently, he is working on completing his ASE Master Medium-Heavy Truck Technician and Alternate Fuels certifications.
