Important information about the loaner laptop program:
The Loaner program was ended due to lack of inventory. A Student announcement with additional options for Pell & Non-Pell Students was forwarded via Student email to all students, See more details below. This is the only current option(s) available to meet your needs.
CATTO Scholars - Borrow a Laptop Loaner
Students:
Please alert your Success Coach that you are in need of borrowing a laptop in order to complete the required coursework. Provide the following information to your Coach: your J#, email address, and mobile phone number. The request to borrow a laptop will be entered by your instructor on your behalf.
Once the College receives the information the student will be notified of the next steps in the process.
Faculty/ Success Coach:
- Login to MyCCP and Click the Student Device Loaner Request (Faculty) link on the LaunchPad
- Select the class the student is attending from the list of classes you are assigned and click Next
- Then select the student you are requesting the device for and click Next:
- Select the device you would like to student to borrow and click Submit:

Laptops for Success Program
Community College of Philadelphia (“CCP”) through a partnership with our partner PCs for People (“PCP”), refurbished laptops are available for purchase from between $25 and $50, depending on your financial aid eligibility. Here’s the breakdown: If you receive a Federal Pell Grant, you can purchase a laptop for $25—just enter the coupon code on the PCs for People site (that's a savings of up to $100!) and follow the instructions. If you don’t receive a Federal Pell Grant, you can still purchase a laptop for $50 using the coupon code on the site.
Each Pc comes with 1 year of technical support for hardware and software that came on the laptop at purchase. 4

Thanks to a grant from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (“NTIA”) and Community College of Philadelphia (“CCP”), you are eligible for a free refurbished laptop to use for your coursework. Under the Connecting Minority Communities Grant, if you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient AND majoring in Computer Information Systems – Information Technology; Computer Science; Cybersecurity; Network Administration; or Web and Mobile Application Development, you can use a coupon code to obtain a laptop free of charge.
