Our Goals
- To promote equality within the College
- To strive for a climate free of sexual and racial harassment and bigotry
- To educate the College community on equal employment opportunity
- To ensure accessibility and accommodation to individuals with disabilities
What We Do
- Seek to eliminate all discrimination within the College community
- Develop and coordinate nondiscrimination policies and procedures
- Promote equality within the College
- Investigate and resolve internal discrimination complaints
- Coordinate processing of discrimination complaints with federal, state and local agencies
- Prepare reports for College officials and government agencies
- Provide and sponsor educational programs on equal employment opportunity, nondiscrimination and related issues
- Serve as a College-wide resource in matters related to nondiscrimination policies and equal employment opportunity
- Serve as the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinator in compliance with appropriate regulations
