Lion's Pathway Job Shadowing Program
This job shadowing program is designed to provide students within each guided pathway a hands-on opportunity to explore their career interests beyond the classroom. Participants will gain real-life insight into different occupations and professional work environments with the chance to make meaningful connections with staff that could yield access to future opportunities. During a unique, one-day experience, participants will shadow professionals during a shift, learn the pros and cons of the job, and gather tips about the application and recruitment process. Job Shadowing opportunities will take place in the Spring 2025 semester, stay tune for more information.
Students from the following pathways are invited to participate in the first cohort: Science and Technology; Design, Construction and Transportation; Liberal Arts and Communications; and Education and Human Services.
Interested? The application process for the Spring 2025 Job Shadowing program will open on October 30th, a link will be provided starting on October 30th. Applications will be reviewed by the Career Connections team and students will be matched with a worksite in early February. If an application is not approved for the program, Career Connections will assist the applicant in finding other career resources. Accepted students will be required to attend a mandatory orientation session and provide their own transportation to and from the worksite.
