On Wednesday, Feb. 8, the CCP community showed their support for the Philadelphia Eagles at a tailgate party held in the Bonnell Lobby. Students, faculty and staff traded their CCP gold for Eagles green as we celebrated and cheered on our Eagles. CBS Philadelphia's Ukee Washington fired up the crowd as the Philadelphia Eagles Pep Band led the crowd in singing the Fly, Eagles, Fly victory song! We brought the Linc to Spring Garden Street with Philly's favorite snacks, games and Eagles jerseys and gear for prizes. Go Birds!

Community College of Philadelphia welcomed students back to campus with a series of Welcome Week events, held Sept. 6-8. Faculty, staff and student Lion Leaders were out in force to help students on their first days of classes, and we kicked off the school year with a big outside bash. The bash welcomed students with snacks and summertime treats, games with prizes, CCP giveaways, music, and carnival activities.
