Know Your Rights
- Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are in line by 8 p.m., you must be allowed to vote..
- You can request to vote by provisional ballot if your name does not appear in the poll book, you don't have required ID with you, your eligibility is challenged by a poll worker. Learn more about provisional ballots.
- If you are experiencing problems voting or have questions about voting, call the Pennsylvania Election Hotline toll free at 1-877-868-3772.

Get Involved
Become a poll worker on election day
Poll workers help elections run smoothly by opening and closing polling places, checking voters in, and supporting the voting process throughout Election Day. Poll workers can earn $200 for serving, and bilingual interpreters may earn $180
- Students who are 17 years old may serve as paid poll workers by submitting the Involved at 17 approval form.
- Interested in becoming a poll worker? Contact the Election Board Unit at 215-685-4811 or the County Board of Elections at 215-686-3469. When you call, say: "I would like to be a poll worker and I need a placement."
Volunteer with #CCPVotes
Volunteering is a great way to build your resume and gain valuable experience in community organizing, advocacy, networking, public speaking and more! Through partnerships with different nonpartisan organizations, #CCPVotes promotes community-engaged learning experiences for students, some of which are paid positions.
