Program Evaluation

Program Evaluation

Tuesday, April 21, 2026 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm

The ability to evaluate and critique your own programming is crucial for a host of reasons (Program change, funding, etc.). The problem is that most evaluation occurs as an afterthought instead of being built into program development. It also tends to focus on immediate reactions and surface level changes rather than long term success. Very often, data is collected but never analyzed or used. In this session we will discuss the importance of program evaluation, program evaluation strategies, and data collection tools.
