2020 Graduation Information
Congratulations to our graduates! This is a milestone you should be proud of accomplishing—and you did it during a time we never would have imagined possible just a few months ago. You completed your certificate or degree during a time when the unthinkable has become the new normal. COVID-19 has tested our community’s and our nation's resolve. It has tested your resolve. Yet here you are.
Community College of Philadelphia’s May Commencement ceremony has been postponed due to ongoing public health concerns and Pennsylvania’s ongoing stay at home order. We hope to be able to gather in-person for a rescheduled ceremony, and we will provide more information as soon as we are able. In order to celebrate you and your achievements, a #CCPGrad2020 website will feature content for our graduates so we can virtually celebrate together.
As long as you meet the graduation requirements, you will still graduate even though the Commencement ceremony has been postponed. See information below about how to check your graduation eligibility. Your diploma will be mailed to you in mid-June.
To help you celebrate, we will be mailing you a Commencement in a Box package in June, which will include your graduation cap and tassel. Please share your photos with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #CCPGrad2020 so we can join you in celebrating your accomplishment. We encourage you to return with your caps and tassels when we are able to celebrate Commencement with you in person. If you do not wish to receive a Commencement in a Box package, please complete this form so we can remove you from our mailing list.
Congratulations to you, Class of 2020. Be proud of yourselves, because we will forever be proud of you.
