Courses

If you are looking to deepen your awareness and understanding of cultures, learn more about important ideas that impact our society, or improve your ability to read, write and think carefully, then you will find that we have a lot to offer.

Courses in our department may be taken in any order. They focus on different topics, areas or time periods, but it does not matter if you start with 101 or 221. Every course is open to students who are new to the subject, while at the same time challenging and worthwhile for more advanced students.

* Honors courses may only be taken as part of the selective Honors program. Contact us for more details.
