Support Centers
Career Services
The Career Services Center is a resource to help students and alumni achieve their career goals. Through walk in hours with professional staff, in class presentations, and special events, individuals can learn how to create a better résumé, practice interviewing skills and research job opportunities.
Center on Disability
The Center on Disability (COD) fosters an educational environment that is inclusive of, and accessible to, the diverse population served by Community College of Philadelphia. It works collaboratively with College constituencies and outside agencies that support individuals with unique or complex learning needs.
Center for Male Engagement
Geared toward African-American males, the Center for Male Engagement (CME) provides its participants with academic and non-academic supports designed to enhance their particular skill sets, cultivate a sense of connectedness to each other and the College and build resolve as they persist and graduate from college.
Child Development Center
Students may enroll their children, ages six weeks to five years, in the College’s Child Development Center on Main Campus. This convenient center, managed by Knowledge Universe, Inc., fully adheres to all state requirements and currently enjoys accreditation by both the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Keystone Stars (Star 3).
Counseling Center
Staffed by professional counselors, the College’s Counseling Center offers you free educational, career and personal counseling services.
International Student Services
International Student Services (ISS) provides many resources for international students who are in F-1 nonimmigrant status. We offer individual advising and services in the following areas:
Veterans Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center serves students who are active duty, retired, Reservist or National Guard veterans, spouses of veterans and dependent children of Service-disabled veterans. A Veteran’s Resource Coordinator answers your questions about programs and services offered to veterans, including the education benefits programs offered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Women's Outreach and Advocacy Center
The Women’s Outreach and Advocacy Center provides services that address the academic, social, emotional and personal development needs, as well as the health and safety concerns of female students. Its co-curricular educational, professional, cultural, and social services and programs empower women students to take responsibility for and control of their own life choices.
