Paid Biology Research Opportunity

In Fall 2025, the Biology department will offer paid research opportunities for students to gain hands-on laboratory experience under the mentorship of Biology faculty. During this semester-long research experience, students will learn in-demand biotechnology techniques, such as nanopore sequencing and gene editing.

The lab experience and mentor meetings will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

During the session, you’ll meet the faculty mentors that will lead the research experience and learn about the program details and requirements to see if it’s the right fit for you.

This research opportunity is open to all students, however, students with a career interest in biotechnology, biology and STEM fields will be prioritized. Previous Biology courses or lab experience is a plus, but not required to apply.
