Career Connections Empowerment Workshop Presentation Request

The Career Connections department at Community College of Philadelphia is excited to partner with faculty, student organizations and staff to provide career-readiness workshops that PREPARE, EMPOWER AND CONNECT our students to career and professional development opportunities to help them successfully transition into the workforce. The workshop topics that we offer have been informed by employer trends and expectations researched through the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the College’s employer partners throughout the city and surrounding counties.

The Career Connections department has added virtual presentation offerings which include:

  • Pre-recorded video presentation: We have converted five of our most popular department workshops to video presentations that are accessible through our webpage and on Handshake for students
  • Live Zoom presentation (live presentations can be requested by Career Connections staff or one of our employer partners)
  • In-person: At your location or ours

Inportant Note: Classroom presentations are 30-45 minutes and can last up to 1-hour in length depending on the topic and Q&A. Request a presentation as soon as possible, presentation slots fill up fast!

To maximize our ability to meet the needs of our four campus locations:

  • Career Connections can accommodate up to two (2) presentations per class/group per semester
  • Requests must be made no less than two weeks in advance (three weeks in advance for employer presentation requests)
  • Presentations should be no earlier than 8 a.m. and start no later than 7 p.m.
