The College offers high school equivalency preparation classes to help you prepare for the HiSET and/or GED® exams. HiSET is a trademark of Educational Testing Service. GED is a trademark of GED Testing Service.

Eligibility

Adults at least 18 years of age without a high school diploma or GED and not enrolled in secondary school are eligible for the program.

Classes Offered

• HSE Preparation in Reading Comprehension, Writing, and Social Studies
• HSE Preparation in Science and Mathematics

Classes are available online or in person on Main Campus.

Cost

The course fee is $80, plus the cost of the textbook (about $33). Payment can be made online with a credit card (additional fees may apply) or in person with cash or a check at the Student Tuition Services office on Main Campus.

Refunds will be granted only if the class is canceled or the student withdraws before the first class meeting.   

Registration

The next semester for new students is spring 2026. Classes begin January 5.
