Dental Hygiene Program

Our Dental Hygiene program will prepare you to become an integral member of a dental health care team that educates and treats patients. Through supervised clinical training and access to expert faculty in the industry, you will gain the necessary skills to provide preventative care and treatment, such as medical and dental history review, head and neck examination, exposure of dental radiographs (x- rays), dental prophylaxis (teeth cleaning), fluoride, sealants, and polishing of restorations. By graduating with this degree, you will be eligible to take the Northeast Regional Board Examination and the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination, in order to obtain licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
