Enrollment in the College’s Tuition Payment Plan for Spring 2023 will be available ONLINE via the MyCCP portal beginning November 18, 2022. Enhancements include more payment options, and financial aid and company billing is included when calculating the payment schedule and the option to enroll in automatic payments. Students interested in enrolling can login to MyCCP and select the "Enroll in a/View Your Payment Plan" link under the Financial Services. Learn more about the Tuition Payment Plan. Do you need a place to discuss and share your experiences in recovery?
Join our weekly recovery and support group for a place to share and listen. No commitment necessary. Students who attend 4 sessions before November 11 are eligible for a $200 scholarship.

Looking for a place to get creative and connect?
Community College of Philadelphia welcomed students back to campus with a series of Welcome Week events, held Sept. 6-8. Faculty, staff and student Lion Leaders were out in force to help students on their first days of classes, and we kicked off the school year with a big outside bash. The bash welcomed students with snacks and summertime treats, games with prizes, CCP giveaways, music, and carnival activities.
Community College of Philadelphia paid tribute to those who lost their lives on 9/11, including members of the Philadelphia community. The College's annual remembrance of 9/11 was held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at the Bonnell Circle. Members of the College community gathered to share a moment of silence and help ensure that 9/11 is a day that is never forgotten.
Saxbys, a new student-run cafe on Main Campus, opened on Main Campus on September 7. This new partnership will allow College students to gain valuable leadership and work experience while earning pay and academic credits. During the grand opening event, attendees had the chance to meet the two inaugural Student Cafe Executive Officers (SCEOs), Imira Roussaw and Nysair Brooks, in addition to ordering from Saxbys’ classic drinks, new line of energy drinks, and limited-edition grilled cheese sandwiches: the "Cheesesteak Wit" and "Old Bay Tot.” Both the College and Saxbys are committed to empowering students to take charge of their futures through the development of social, managerial, and leadership skills necessary to succeed in modern business environments.
The grand opening of the Career and Advanced Technology Center (CATC) on Aug. 18 featured Mayor Kenney, elected officials and members of the College community, who provided remarks before the ribbon cutting. Attendees were able to tour the facility, which houses programs in transportation technologies, health care and manufacturing. Offering degree and short-term career programs, as well as certifications, the CATC will prepare Philadelphians for in-demand positions through hands-on training with the latest equipment found in the field.
The College is providing this FAQ to the College community regarding the monkeypox outbreak, which was declared a public health emergency by the White House on August 4, 2022. Although the risk of getting monkeypox is low to the general public, and the College is not aware of any cases within the College community, it is still important to know about monkeypox symptoms, prevention, and steps to take if you get sick.
What are the symptoms of monkeypox?
Symptoms of monkeypox can include fever, headache, muscle aches and backache, swollen lymph nodes, chills, exhaustion, respiratory symptoms, and a rash that can look like pimples or blisters and may be painful or itchy.
