Safiyyah

My counselor at my high school helped me register for Community College because I do not get much support from my parents. I was looking for help getting to and from campus, so I found out about the KEYS [Keystone Education Yields Success] program at CCP. They have helped me a lot—increased my motivation.

I chose Psychology because of my parents. Both of my parents are in drug abuse situations. I wanted to understand the mind, and why we as humans do certain things. I’m curious about psychology, how drugs control the mind, and so on. After I graduate this May 2019, I will be attending Holy Family to continue studying Psychology. My future plans are to get my master’s degree, do internships, and get a full-time job.
