I was originally at Penn State. I went to school here in Philly my whole life, so I decided to go to there. I was there for a year, but it ended up being pretty expensive. So I came back to Philly, and just worked jobs trying to make ends meet. I decided to come back to college and come here to Community College of Philadelphia to study Engineering. I then plan to attend Temple University. Right now I’m working in the Single Stop office and they offer a lot of help to students. I’ve gotten help with snack benefits; they’re currently helping me with my immigration because I’m not a citizen here—they help a lot! My long-term goals are to be a Biomedical Engineer and work in a hospital helping to make artificial limbs.
