My brother, Kevin, was a graduate here [Community College of Philadelphia]. He brought me into the CME [Center for Male Engagement] when I was still in high school and had me meet boss man [Director Derrick Perkins]. I was super, super nervous. A year later, I came into CCP through the summer program. I went through the program and met some friends who are still here with me. I like it so much, I’ve helped with the other programs. From that point on, I’ve been in CME and hopefully in 2018, I’ll still be helping with the CME programs.

I went into Business because I felt as though I needed that information. I know when I open up my own shop, I need to know the basics. I just want a bachelor’s [degree]. I don’t necessarily need a master’s to own a business. I also like International Studies, but I decided to start with just business and then combine the two.

Editor’s Note: Daniel will be graduating May 2018, and will be attending Kutztown University in the fall where he will study General Business and International Business.
