Breyaun

Out of high school I went to Bloomsburg. I wound up dropping a class, and I lost my financial aid. So I had to move back home because I couldn’t stay there without the aid. I said, ‘I’m going to keep going to school because I don’t want to stop.’ I wound up at CCP [Community College of Philadelphia]. I’m graduating this May!

I think the College helped me realize that the idea of going to a four-year university is overrated. You can really come here and have teachers that have the same dedication and the same quality of education—it’s really about how you invest in a school.

Editor’s Note: Breyaun has been part of the College’s KEYS program and will be graduating in May 2018. In the fall she will attend the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute to for esthetician studies.
