I heard about this program called CME (Center for Male Engagement) when I was in high school and it attracted me to CCP. When I leave CCP my goal is to be a best performing actor. I’ve always dreamed of that! I also want to help out my community—where people can be mentored and never feel like they’re alone or struggling.

Once I entered CCP and joined CME, it became prevalent that I help out my community. I’m tired of seeing most of my cultural being on the news all of the time and I wanted to change that. My biggest takeaways from my first semester here are time management and to get involved in clubs. I hope people that see my story are encouraged to keep chasing their dreams.
