As we end 2020, and the College’s first and hopefully last fully online Fall semester, we celebrate the progress our community has made, and wish the very best for our students, staff and faculty for the remainder of winter break and the Winter 2020 semester. We hope that your holidays were restful, warm and bright.

With case counts so far above what was seen in summer and early fall, this winter we must all find the balance between exercising restraint, preventing burnout, and finding ways to fulfill our social needs.

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the College has decided to extend the deadlines for withdrawal from courses for the fall 2020 semester. Please note the following:

  • The last day for students (15A, 10A and 7B) to withdraw has been extended to Dec. 10, 2020
  • The last day for faculty to withdraw students has been extended to Dec. 11, 2020

Students who have questions about withdrawing can contact Counseling (counseling@ccp.edu) or Academic Advising (advising@ccp.edu). In addition, students can also contact their instructors with any questions about their progress in courses.

Enrollment in the College’s Tuition Payment Plan for Spring 2021 will be available ONLINE via the MyCCP portal beginning November 18, 2020. Enhancements include more payment options, and financial aid and company billing is included when calculating the payment schedule and the option to enroll in automatic payments. Students interested in enrolling can login to MyCCP and select the "Enroll in a/View Your Payment Plan" link under the Financial Services. Learn more about the Tuition Payment Plan. If you have any questions, view our Frequently Asked Questions or contact the Bursar’s bursarsoffice@ccp.edu.

With case counts rising past 300 in recent days, our ability to thrive throughout the upcoming months will rely heavily on preparations we make for the future. Although there is much that is not within our control, we must focus all of our energy and effort on what is. Entering the second half of the semester and heading towards winter, we must continue to practice vigilance and optimism while navigating both our lives and our academic pursuits post-COVID-19.

While we may not have been able to be together for summer and fall classes, we were able to stay connected as a community. Take a look at some of the events that took place this summer and fall, from Roary making an appearance at some Phamous Philly landmarks and construction at our new Career and Advanced Technology Center in in West Philadelphia, to our Snack Rack Curbside Pickup food pantry, our Enough is Enough Solidarity Walk, and lots of great Zoom events!
