This spring the College celebrated the accomplishments of another cohort of future nurses with an in-person ceremony where 98 students graduated with an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing. The ceremony took place at 10 a.m. Friday, May 6 in the Bonnell Building with remarks from Dr. Donald Guy Generals; Dr. Vishal Shah, dean of Math, Science and Health Careers; Dr. Barbara McLaughlin, Nursing Department head; Dr. Jean Byrd, assistant professor of Nursing; student speakers and others. The Department of Nursing also presented several scholarships and awards, including the Allen and Dorothy Bonnell Award, the Chesler Family Endowment Award, and others.
