To help kickoff the College’s adoption of Spring Garden School, students, faculty and staff worked side by side on August 14 and 15 to fill close to 200 backpacks with school supplies, and to create cards with messages of encouragement. The backpacks are being distributed to Spring Garden School students who need them on the first day of school, Aug. 27, where volunteers from the College will be there to greet them. The unused backpacks will be donated to students in Western Region Nigeria and to local students as needed. Members of the College community donated the backpacks and school supplies.
