The annual President's Recognition Tea recognizes faculty and staff who have made a special contribution to the College. This year, Lisa Johnson and Michelle Myers received the President's Award for Service to the College. The President's Award for Civility/Collegiality awardees were Jackie Jenkins Harvey, Laureen Tavolaro-Ryley and Erica Harrison. Faye Allard and Amy Birge received the President's Award for Diversity, and Scarlette Floyd, Monique Gilchrist and Carol Moriarity received the President's Award for Fostering Student Success.The League for Innovation in the Community College 2018 Innovation of the Year Award recognized the College's Diversity Certificate Program: Debonair Oates-Primus, Faye Allard, Simon Brown, Veronical Kalczewski, Marissa Johnson-Valenzuela, Bianca Cummings, Claudia Curry, Aaron Love and Lucia Gbaya-Kanga.
