Seminar Description
This session will provide faculty, staff, and administrators with an inside look at CCP’s seven Academic Pathway Communities and the Pathway Faculty Facilitators who help advance this work. Grounded in the College’s Guided Pathways framework, participants will learn about the purpose of the Academic Pathway Communities, meet or reconnect with Pathway Faculty Facilitators, and gain a clearer understanding of their roles in supporting student success.
Our Pathway Faculty Facilitators will share key activities, initiatives, and current priorities within their respective pathways, including emerging needs and efforts to better support students. These highlights will illustrate how pathway-based work strengthens student engagement, supports academic and career exploration, fosters connection, and promotes progress toward degree completion.
This session will also provide an opportunity for the College community to ask questions, share perspectives, and identify ways their own work connects to Academic Pathway Communities. At the conclusion of the session, participants will leave with a clearer understanding of who is involved in this work, the priorities being addressed, and how Academic Pathway Communities support the College’s mission and student success goals.
