• Present a clear and detailed overview of the FY25-26 budget development process, highlighting essential timelines and critical milestones to ensure transparency and effective participation. Why COIL? 
• Define and clarify the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders throughout the budget planning and approval phases, fostering accountability and collaborative engagement. How are students impacted by COIL? 
• Equip participants with the tools and knowledge needed to make informed decisions, enabling them to actively and effectively contribute to the budget process while supporting institutional priorities. 
• Reinforce the alignment of the College’s planning processes, resources, and structures with Middle States Standard VI, ensuring they collectively support the institution’s mission and goals, drive continuous improvement of programs and services, and position the College to respond proactively to opportunities and challenges. 

Seminar Description
This seminar provides an overview of the Community College of Philadelphia’s FY25-26 budget process, empowering participants with the knowledge and tools to actively engage in the College’s financial planning efforts. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the budget cycle—from initial planning to final approval—while exploring how the College’s mission and strategic goals drive financial priorities. Additionally, the session will highlight the impact of budgetary decisions on operational efficiency, academic programming, and student success, fostering a deeper appreciation for the role of financial planning in advancing fiscal stability and sustainability.
