  • Why COIL?
  • How COIL works?
  • How are students impacted by COIL?

Seminar Description
Employers now seek candidates with collaborative skills and inter-cultural competence. Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) trains students well in both of these skills. COIL has been in practice at many four-year institutions; however, COIL was first introduced at CCP in Fall 2023. From one faculty COILing in Fall 2023, we now have seven faculty who COILed in Fall 2024 and three more are slated to COIL in Spring 2025. COIL enables our students to interact and work collaboratively on a project, that is closely connected with their course content, with students from another higher education institution abroad. Hear from your peers about their experiences in Coiling and their reflections on this innovative practice.
