Seminar Description

“Selective colleges and universities do not enroll many community college transfer students. … Students who do transfer from community colleges to selective colleges and universities are successful.” – Jack Kent Cooke Foundation* Most selective four-year institutions have preconceived notions of transfer students, and many do not consider transfers from community colleges. But in 2007, Bucknell University established the Bucknell Community College Scholars Program (BCCSP). What do you know about BCCSP? Learn about an amazing opportunity for high achieving, low-income CCP students to participate in a unique summer program that, if successfully completed, could lead to admissions and a full-tuition scholarship (just over $67,000 for Fall 2024) for CCP graduates to attend Bucknell and earn their bachelor’s degree!

Attend this workshop to:

  • Obtain program criteria for CCP students to qualify.
  • Help us increase awareness of this program.
  • Encourage your students to apply!
