Participants will:

  • Understand what dual enrollment programs are offered at the College.
  • Learn who can participate
  • Understand when, where, and how students participate.
  • learn why dual enrollment programs matter at CCP and nationally.
  • Understand how dual enrollment is expanding within the college at the state level

Participants will also hear about the work the Division of Strategic Initiatives and Community Engagement (SICE) is doing to gain national accreditation through the National Associate of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships.

Seminar Description
This workshop will cover the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of dual enrollment programming at the College and will discuss state level expansion, new initiatives at CCP and our work toward national accreditation. The workshop will include an overview of program models and college level data. As dual enrollment programming expands and new initiatives focus on more intentional pathways for these students, it is important that the college community has a general knowledge of dual enrollment programs offered as well as an understanding of the reasons why providing these opportunities is so important for Philadelphia youth.
