Seminar Description
"How are we doing?" "Why are students enrolling?" "What is most important to them?"

In this session, we'll look explore almost 10 years’ worth of data from the College's Student Satisfaction survey to answer these questions and more. We will also discuss the importance of the student voice in institutional decision making, and describe the College’s historical and ongoing efforts to collect data related to student satisfaction.

We'll review the survey itself (its sections, a sampling of items, methodology, etc.) and discuss current issues such as declining response rates, survey fatigue, and the College’s survey policy. Finally, we will discuss how the survey relates to the College's mission and assessment efforts.

The Satisfaction Survey touches on all areas of the College and this session will thus be relevant to all members of the College community.
