Seminar Description

This new program offered by Career Connections will improve student access to career services by assisting faculty and staff in developing their understanding of career readiness and how Career Connections can assist students throughout their collegiate experience at CCP. The goals of the Career Connections Champions program are threefold. One, to educate and empower our faculty and staff with career resources and tools when having conversations with students about their career plan. Two, establish consistent career readiness messaging for students across campus. Finally, scale career services resources to a larger population of students. The Career Connections Champions program is expected to improve inclusive access to services for all students and build a stronger, kinder and more empathetic college community that will ensure better student retention and outcomes. In this session, we will focus on career resources that faculty and staff can use to assist students in the moment with pressing career questions.
