Seminar Description

Learn about exciting international initiatives at the College and share your ideas for continuing to globalize the campus! The Center for International Understanding is one of three "Centers of Excellence" at the College. The objectives of the Center include engaging faculty in research on and integration of international material into the curriculum, supporting student global learning, building partnerships that support global learning and understanding, and supporting cocurricular activities that engage students in international learning. This session will provide information on opportunities for faculty to engage in faculty and curriculum development opportunities across academic pathways during 2025-2026. You will hear from a range of faculty who will be using COIL to teach in partnership with universities in India and the Philippines (and about on-going opportunities through the South Asia Center at the University of Pennsylvania.) The session will also share information and solicit ideas for events for International Education Week (Nov. 17-21, 2025) and the International Festival (April 2026.) All faculty, staff and administrators are invited. Please come and share your questions, ideas, and suggestions!
